Oh - How sentimental I'm feeling writing up this last post!

 I've had such an amazing 2 years with BP and the blog! I hardly know what I'll do with myself without needing to browse BP every Wednesday and Friday! :) Thanks so much to Nordstrom and to you for reading! I can't wait to see the next round of bloggers and be a reader myself!

It's Been So Lovely...!

Well, the inevitable has finally come, today will be my second to last post ever! We'll save the goodbyes for Friday, but until then I thought I'd take a trip into the archives to reminisce over my favorite posts from over the years!

The Closet Chronicles

I, for one, love integrating fashion and style into everything around me. Whether it be through music, art, or interior design, I think everything you do reflects your wardrobe, personality, and style! So, I thought I'd take some of my favorite closets (literally, closets) and imagine some of the outfits the owners might wear based off these small spaces!

This is my personal fave - love wallpaper! And I really love the idea of that bold mod peter-pan collar blouse paired with the Missoni-esque chevron skirt! (Of course I love the dress... I own it!)

Oh, if only I were as organized as this! I love how modern the look of this closet it, but there's still falir and character! And aren't those oxford wedges amazing? Certainly going on my wish-list!

Flattened

Lately I haven't been wearing a lot of flats, which, I realized, I rather miss! I've been donning boots an awful lot, and come to think of it I'm not even sure what shoes I've been wearing instead of my flats. But now, I feel the need to get the last out of the classic shoes before I'm condemned to snow boots for the upcoming months! Here are some of my favorite picks from Nordstrom...

Sweaters Squared

Today was sweater-weather. The sky was grey and a cozy knit just seemed like the perfect thing to snuggle into to read a good book with a cup of coco. BP has a fantastic collection of sweaters right now, so here are two of my favorite trends when it comes to the fall/winter staple...

The fair-isle trend seems to be making a comeback since last winter. I still love it just as much, nothing could be more reminiscent of snowy days and holiday cheer! This Love Madly Hooded Cardigan has an aztec-inspired twist with the enlarged diamond print.

It looks like stripes are still going strong! I love how this By Design Crop Sweater puts a twist on the perfect geometric pattern by adding sweet little scallops to the stripes! So cute!

Now, what could be better than stripes + fair-isle! I love the mixed patterns, seen here on theFrenchi Ribbed Trim Sweater Dress and the By Design Crop Nordic Sweater. Two patterns are better than one afterall!

The Return to Pretty : Just Peachy

As winter approaches I find myself being more and more drawn to pretty colors, sequins, and cleaner lines - a much needed break from the haphazard t-shirt thing that's been going on in my closet for a while. I'm in love with all of BP's pretty pinky peaches.

Pink in the off season never did any harm!
