Pretty in Pink

In a fleeting moment as I was running through Nordstrom

 {on a mission for an upcoming project}

I caught a glimpse of the perfect, most beautiful sunglasses I have ever seen...

 Ray-Ban 'Club Master's. in a brilliant Pink.

{not the exact fuscia or item pictured}

but a bright, cheery, bubblegum pink!

They were definitely perfect and I will most definitely be going back to search for them!

Short Short

A small trend I've been noticing {and kind of falling in love with} is the cropped top. I think its a wonderful concept for summer, and here is how I would wear it...

 A khaki short paired with a fresh white cropped tee {for underneath, a simple bandeau will do the trick!} and you've got what is a perfect outfit for those super-hot summer days! 

Pair with a funky scarf, shades, and sandals to brighten the neutral look!

Headed Back To School

The only good part about having to go back to school after spring break, 

I would say, is that it's finally time to break out all your spring clothes again!

I snapped this picture two seconds before I headed off to school {sorry for the fuzziness} 

But I loved wearing a pretty light and white dress for the first time all season!

welcome back!

For spring break this week, we have been road tripping all around California's beautiful Bay Area. We've visited UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco, San Luis, Monterey, Shell Beach, and made our final stop in my favorite place and hometown, Pleasanton!

{I'm pretty sure there is a fashion board here, so hello Pleasanton fashion board girls!}

I went to tea with my best friend, and I loved walking up and down the cute little main street! The weather was beautiful and the tea room was darling!

They are a bit hard to see but I loved her boots!

I had such a great time and was so sad to leave! Cant wait for summer!

California Blues!

{but not really}

Just wanted to share, I went for blue nails this spring, like I said I would, and it is my favorite! I did some fancy glitter toes with a 'lapis lazuli' glitter from the craft store, and I love the shade. Its a perfect shade of ocean, yes yes.

Have you ever done glitter toes? They are perfect for summer. They last forever and look wonderful in the sun!
