Across the Pond

Okay, let's just make it clear that I am absolutely smitten with the Royal Wedding!

Me and my mother woke up at 3 in the morning just to watch and it's been on my mind all day!

  Princess Catherine's dress, of course, is incredible!

The wedding party looks wonderful, the ceremony was beautiful, and the live trees in the Cathedral blew us away! Not to mention the cake, the kiss(es), the 500 bells ringing for three hours, and my favorite part, the surprise sports car spin by the Prince and Princess! 

Oh, it's too much for a girl to handle! and makes me want a royal wedding myself!

Had my invitation not gotten lost in the mail, I would have indulged in wearing a little something chic (Ruby Rox Shantung Origami Dress) with a little cardigan, and of course, a 'fascinator' (Tasha 'Birdcage' Veil Hair Clip)! And I do believe these sky high Pelle Moda 'Heat' T-Strap Pumps would do!

Exposed Toes!

First off, as promised... The New 'Do Debut! 

I have to say, I really do love my bangs! Such a nice change, and so much easier to manage (surprisingly) than my old swoopy ones!

Okay, Now on to the important stuff...

Today at school I noticed lots and lots of girls sporting their new spring sandals. But there is a definite trend in sandals this season... They aren't just the normal flip-flops or extreme gladiators of last season, but a simple yet embellished flat sandal. I found some pairs from BP that represent the trend well-

Bang Bang

It's Spring Break for me this week and with lots of time to spare (we're having a 'staycation' over here.) I have had plenty of time to grow increasingly more bothered by my too-long bangs. I don't think they even count as bangs anymore... Luckily, I've got a hair appointment today and those silly things are finally getting taken care of. 

I thought it would be fun to share some hair inspiration with you today, as it seems to be one of those things that is so important to an outfit, but tends to be forgotten. Here are some of my favorite 'do's as of late...

For starters, these are some of my reference photos that I'll be taking with me to the salon today...

As you can see, I hope to be going bold today with some nice messy full-forehead bangs (do those have a real name?)

Next... a little inspiration for extra long tresses (that I am not-so-secretly jealous of)...

But never fear, for those of us with less than long hair can still achieve a pretty 'do!

Lastly, I couldn't let this post go by without sharing my favorite hair-do as of late with you... braids!
