I am back from camping, and all I can say is I sure wish I could be at the beach right now.

Toting this bag.

And listening to a good summer playlist. Kind of like this suggests.

Oh, and with this to cover up.

Its a funny mix, but doesn't it sound delightful to anyone else?

A Camping I Will Go!

So it seems I am off to camp for the next few days! We've got lots planned for our little adventure down to the southern part of Utah. Just things like river rafting and bike rides!

I've decided to take a more... sun protected route for my wardrobe this camping trip. Yes, it seems I will be sporting denim leggings, along with long sleeved light weight tunics and tissue tees. It's my complexion of course... fair as can be with a proneness to sunburns.

If camping wouldn't so inevitably cover all your clothes in dirt, sunscreen, and lake water, I would much rather be wearing things like these Jolt Smocked Waist Shorts and this Rubbish Roll Sleeve Plaid Shirt! Accessorized with a Nordstrom Bowed Fedora, Betsey Johnson Floral Sunglasses, and snazzy Pink Keds for extra measure! You would be the cutest girl in camp, thats for sure!

Anyways, I hope you all have wonderful summer adventures ahead of you as well!

Refreshing!

As I've said before, although nautical is definitley a trend I love, there are so many ways to shake up our favorite looks for a refreshing style this summer. I've been searching for ways to reinvent the floral and stripe look that we all know and love, and here are some ideas to give your style a boost!

Try fun color combinations. Hot pink and heather grey stripes are a unique mix of casual and fun! Perfect for hanging out! This Velvet Torch Stripe Smocked Waist Dress is perfect and the vertical and horizontal stripes are super flattering! Yellow and heather is also a great combo, try theseRepot 'Kimball' Flats! 

My favorite way to reinvent the floral and striped nautical prints we all love is on a pair of shoes! The Poetic Licence 'Wonderful Day' Flat is a darling example, and for a more casual shoe try the new TOMS 'Newport' Slip-On for a fun nautical shoe you can wear anywhere!

Packaging is always key, and I love these seahorse and coral covered bottles! Not to mention the bronze and peach shades can get you ready for the sun!

 I've been wanting to try fun and bright shades for summer, so I love the bright pink, green, and tealTo the Beach Eyeshadow! Especially the teal Shimmermoss color!

Of course, everyone is looking for the perfect tan, and the collection's new bronzing powder,bronzing creme, and bronze body oil can give you just that!

And for those of us with fair complexions that dont quite agree with bronzers, the 'To the Beach' Lustre Drops can still give us the shimmer and highlights that we seek! {as long as we remember our sunscreen!}

Mac's lipglass - always a favorite - has also been included in the collection in three glittering shades! A light pink Easy Lounger, a brighter pink Splashing, and a bronzed Flurry of Fun!

Here Comes The Sun

Well, not really. School is finally out! Summer break was kicked off with a bad cold and rainy weather, so I'm definitely ready for some sun and warm weather!

So here is one of my go-to outfits for this summer break... simple, cool, and comfy! and still super cute!

I love to mix the flirty ruffled floral dresses with something a little tougher to balance, like a boyfriend tee. Better yet, show your Twilight colors with a boyfriend tee from the new line!
