Imaginary Packing Lists

I just finished with the last full week of school for the year... hip hip hooray!! I have two more "real" days of school and then it's all over... on to senior year! So, in leu of the approaching vacations and road trips, I decided to make a packing list of things I would wear if I could a) have all the clothes in the world :) and b) pack up and head off right now!
California: I'm a native Californian, so we visit every summer. Some family stills lives out there, in a darling house practically surrounded by orange groves. It's such a beautiful little town to spend a week in! What I would wear is...
(This Lulu 'Medallion' Square Scarf mimics the orange and leafy greens of the groves so well!)

A Camping I Will Go: If there's one thing living mere minutes away from mountains is good for, It's camping. I don't go nearly as much as I should to really take advantage of the resource, but this summer I'm hoping to spend a little more time in the great outdoors!

Hiking in this Jolt Roll Sleeve Romper actually sounds like good fun!

Italy: Okay, while I may be going to California and camping realistically, going out of the country is the most imaginary of all these 'imaginary vacations'. I've never been to Europe, but I dream about it day and night!! Right now, I'm obsessed with Italy!
Traveling abroad wouldn't be complete without this Juicy Couture Passport Charm to commemorate!

If you could go anywhere in the world and wear anything you wished, what would it be? I'd love to hear in the comments!

Spring MUST Bring... Part II

And we're back with round two! On to...
MAXI SKIRTS
Nothing says easy-breezy-no-care-in-the-world like along sweet maxi skirt and t-shirt combo. My personal favorites are striped knits, like this Free People Long Stripe Skirt and this Ella Moss 'Cali Chevron' Maxi Skirt.

But BP's Lily White Maxi Skirt has got that undeniable boho vibe!

and PERFECT DAY DRESSES!
While I will always have a soft spot of pretty dresses, it's summer when I finally get to show my collection off! I'm especially in love with the fresh pastel options BP has to offer these days, my favorites include the Trixxi Tiered Bodice DressAmanda Uprichard 'Joan' Dress, and this Pure Sugar Ruffle Front Print Chiffon Dress, don't forget this darling Trixxi Eyelet Trim Knit Dress.

and it was love at first sight when I saw this Ted Baker dress on the mannequin during our Fashion Board meeting this month!!

That's all for today so au revoir. Spring is in the air and I've got sun to soak! (not without sunscreen though, never without sunscreen!) XO Rosie

Spring MUST Bring... Part 1

This week has been a real downer, as we have been in a constant cloud of rain for the whole week!! Right now is the first time I've seen blue skies and rays of sunshine for days! So, while our spring has yet to... spring, I've been busy pouring over the internet, magazines, and stores, in order to compile this years list of Things Spring Must Bring. Meaning, when spring decides to show itself, I hope I'll be wearing this...
Firstly! An Excellent Romper
I had a strapless romper last year and it was the worst, I could not keep it up for the life of me! So sleeves are a must this year!
Needless to say, I really love this Jolt Roll Sleeve Romper!
Next! Perfectly Placed Neon
I really love the neutrals + neon thing thats happening these days! A pop of hot pink or electric yellow takes things into a sun state of mind when balanced with gray or nude! (A perfect pop for rainy day doldrums!)
How about a hot pink pout? NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage
It's always good to have some neon close at hand! Kate Spade 'Essex Scout' Crossbody
Stay tuned for more!

Pantalons Pour Moi!

(yes that's french!)

Well folks, dreams do come true it seems! I finally got myself a pair of wide-leg jeans and boy-oh-boy look at us go! I love to pair mine with a variety of tees, especially striped ones for a perfect sailor-esque look! I also can't get enough of these BP sunglasses! A summer fave for sure!
Get the look...

Jolt!

I love this Jolt Chambray Dress
The exposed zipper, the ribbon-bow straps, zig-zag stitching, and not to mention it's chambray!
This find definitely brightened a stressful day of school and homework as we approach the end of the year!

I cant wait for summer!

Fresh Start

I'm in a definite transition moment at this point in time when it comes to fashion. I think it's about time I do a real closet clean out, out with the old in with the new! But of course with that comes the opportunity to build up a new closet style for yourself! I've been trying to pinpoint just what I'm loving this season, so here are two of my favorite looks of the moment!

NUMBER ONE : patterned skirts and sweatshirts
I'm really head over heels for all the striped skirts I'm seeing and have decided that I probably just need one. And since 'spring' weather is not synonymous with 'warm' weather where I live, a sweatshirt keeps things grounded and practical! Of course, no outfit is complete without a nice neck embellishment. (I think I'll pass on the Shakespearean ruffle, and stick with the name necklace!)

NUMBER TWO : cool pants and loosy tanks

Whether it's camo cargos or groovy flairs, I'm feeling the need for a pair of just plain 'cool' summer bottoms! And of course, nothing says summer like a loose flowy tank!! With easy breezy hair and dashing accessories, I'll be set!!
Of course, neither look is complete without a new pair of spring time shades. I am in l.o.v.e with my pair of Icon Eyewear 'Theresa' Sunglasses from BP!
What have you been loving this season?
