5...4...3...2...1...!

In honor of this momentous occasion, the passing of ten years in the two thousands, please welcome my list of

10 Most Honorable Pieces of 2009

We'll see how this turns out.

10 TIGHTS!
In all colors and styles, I am most glad of my new found love for tights.

9 NECK ADORNMENTS
Wether it be pearly layers or cozy cashmere scarves...!

SLATE {aka Gray}
Not always my color of choice, I've now found that grey is taking over a larger portion of my wardrobe {and Christmas loot for that matter} than ever before!

pullovers... cardigans... vintage... preppy... or slouchy... I'll take 'em all!

Remember that post?

As in headbands and hats, thank you very much!

Maybe its just my name that makes me feel so attached to such patterns, but I sure love them, indeed!

NO JEANS or THE EVER BELOVED SKIRT
I wear skirts like there's no tomorrow! It's true!

New comers to my favorite shoes list are... Rainboots, Chunky Boots, Penny Loafers, and Wing-tips. Don't worry, I still love a pretty heel!
and...

I think everyone is looking onward for the next round of summer and of course, the new pieces BP has in for Spring! Even if it will be 2010 by then!

So have a wonderful New Year! I hope it's fabulous for everyone!

Cream Filled Chirstmas

It may be bland... but my favorite color to wear is definitley cream!

{hey look, I'm even wearing it right now!}

So I searched around Nordstroms for some nice cream-colored peices, because I just cant get enough! And look what I found!

Two great creamy peices for mixing up, thats what!
Creamychristmascollage
{Maybe its a less than classy collage... but lets move on}

Your Basics Are... Cream Cable Uggs and the Rosette Tee!

Your Mix-Ins Are... Brocade Dress and {the best skinny jeans ever...} iT! "Rising Starlet"s!

And Here's How You Do It....!

Dressing Up: Layer Dress over Tee, with a long gold locket to keep it simple, and with some crazy tights, just for kicks!

Dressing Down: Tuck Tee into Jeans {its not as nerdsy as you may imagine} and Jeans into Uggs and wear with layers of pearls for dimension and class!

There you go! Have fun mixing and matching!

... for nice girls who like stuff!

I sure hope I fit the criteria!

Because this Christmas I am wishing for this Juicy Couture Tote!

I don't even wear a lot of blue, but the color is more of a neutral that would add a fun touch to any outfit!

 {PS: Those are my new rainboots....}

and I am dying over the Camera Charm

Have a Juicy Christmas!

tip toe shoes!

I've been searching for a pair of these for ages.

and finally found the perfect ones....!
Mustache

Tuxxedo Flats by Steve Madden.

I think I would like to walk on my tip toes all day if I had those. Yep, I would walk on my toes all day. And they just looked like the kind of shoes that would like a mustache. Don't you think?

{everything is Gold}

ah! my blasted internet lost connection all weekend and I couldn't post on Thursday! But I'm back!

This week I decided I'm having a

Golden Week

Yep, just decided that.

Look for me wearing my mustard cords, unfit-for-winter yellow flats, and maybe even some gold tights.{not all at the same time, mind you}

Doesn't it feel like such a great week to wear gold? Yes... I think so too.

{and a variety of inspirational photographs that also fit my color scheme}

Okay, obviously, I'm still having separation issues with Fall...

There is snow in Utah, but I just don't like it very much.

Maybe next week can be Embrace Winter Week!
{or not, we'll see...}

Oh, Summer.

Apparently, I've had a hard time embracing Fall this year.

That is probably why I still want this Juicy Layered Charm Necklace...!

It's so summery, but I can't resist!

_5773943
I'm sure there are still ways to pull it off, maybe if worn with pretty neutral brown or gray, so it wouldpop.

... or even layered with pearls.

hmmmm.

{xo} Rosie

How do you transform your favorite summer stuff to be fit for fall?

Tie Your Shoes!

_5871672
Don't laugh at me, but I put bows on practically everything. Around my waist, in my hair, on my bags, and when desperately needed I might just tie a bow on my shoes.
That is why I was so excited when I saw these superb  Jeffery Campbell 'Mai Tai' Flats  on a friends blog, and even more excited that they are from Nordstrom!
So I went on a search...

 And I found {and love} these Valentino Bow Sandals... oh dear, and these Steve Madden Duffled Boots!

{Okay that last one is ruffles, but ruffles and ribbons go hand in hand, no?}

Even if you aren't a big fluffy ruffle-bow person... thesethese, and these still have the feminine bow without being too extravagantly ribboned!
I do love a good bow or ruffle.

But tell me, what is your favorite shoe embellishment?

In Retro-Specs!

Don't be afraid to make a spectacle of yourself!

Me&Diana1
{Ta-Da! That is me and my Diana, and of course, my favorite pair of false frames!}

Even with 20/20 vision, glasses can make the perfect accessory! Don a pair of fake lenses in retro-inspired frames and you’ve got yourself a look that will help you reveal your inner genius! My favorite pair is actually from the mens department at Nordstroms!

I’m certain you’ll love them; I wear mine as if my eyes depend on it!

Call Me Old Fashioned

But I am in love with this brooch!
_5937099
Can you imagine it on a boyfriend blazer, or even to liven up a cozy sweater!

I think the bright pink would be such a pretty {yet sophisticated} pop of color against navy or gray!

Weathering the Storm...!

I live in Utah. It is snowy in Utah. I walked to school in Utah in the snow, for three years.

and you can bet your bottom dollar I was not about to wear snow boots to school all day.

So, I needed a solution. And lo and behold, one was presented to me...!

Image
{that is a photo of my old pair, before they perished from their years of use}

I have grown rather fond of these little fellows {I have... four pairs} and they are wonderful things. They came in quite handy on my trip to Seattle this past month, and for those three years of snow-walking. And I found my most favorite pair at Nordstrom when my other ones got holes in them {which kind of defeated the purpose}. I wanted golden-yellow so bad, but black patent-y was fine also! {and I would die over a pair of these Burberry's} They are too comfy, and I wear them more than I should, really. I like to tuck skinny jeans into them, or even wear them with skirts, over tights and knee high socks! They look darling on rainy and snowy days, and they are practical at the same time!

Plaid is next on my list!

Fabulous!

xo, Rosie.

Oh, Hello!

Ta-Da! It is me!

I am Rosie!

and I am so excited to be one of your new BP. Bloggers! Here is a bit about me...

I am a sophomore, I live in Utah, and I am on fashion board at Fashion Place Mall. I love pretty things. I love artistic things. I love fashionable things. I have red hair, which I see as an important detail. I have danced my entire life, and all I ever wanted was to be a ballerina. I love photography. And I love my Diana {Diana is my cute old-fashioned camera, maybe I will show you her pictures some time}. One day, I will be an Artist and/or Photographer. Fashion-wise, I want to be a stylist or work with display/appearance {what is that called?} And... I only want to be famous so I could dress up really fancy more often.

And that is a little about me!

Au Revoir for now! If you need me, you can find me dancing around Nordstrom.

{Seriously, I just can't stop twirling.}

xo, Rosie.
