Oh, Summer.

Apparently, I've had a hard time embracing Fall this year.

That is probably why I still want this Juicy Layered Charm Necklace...!

It's so summery, but I can't resist!

I'm sure there are still ways to pull it off, maybe if worn with pretty neutral brown or gray, so it wouldpop.

... or even layered with pearls.

hmmmm.

How do you transform your favorite summer stuff to be fit for fall?

Tie Your Shoes!

_5871672
Don't laugh at me, but I put bows on practically everything. Around my waist, in my hair, on my bags, and when desperately needed I might just tie a bow on my shoes.
That is why I was so excited when I saw these superb  Jeffery Campbell 'Mai Tai' Flats  on a friends blog, and even more excited that they are from Nordstrom!
So I went on a search...

 And I found {and love} these Valentino Bow Sandals... oh dear, and these Steve Madden Duffled Boots!

{Okay that last one is ruffles, but ruffles and ribbons go hand in hand, no?}

Even if you aren't a big fluffy ruffle-bow person... thesethese, and these still have the feminine bow without being too extravagantly ribboned!
I do love a good bow or ruffle.

But tell me, what is your favorite shoe embellishment?

In Retro-Specs!

Don't be afraid to make a spectacle of yourself!

Me&Diana1
{Ta-Da! That is me and my Diana, and of course, my favorite pair of false frames!}

Even with 20/20 vision, glasses can make the perfect accessory! Don a pair of fake lenses in retro-inspired frames and you’ve got yourself a look that will help you reveal your inner genius! My favorite pair is actually from the mens department at Nordstroms!

I’m certain you’ll love them; I wear mine as if my eyes depend on it!

Call Me Old Fashioned

But I am in love with this brooch!
_5937099
Can you imagine it on a boyfriend blazer, or even to liven up a cozy sweater!

I think the bright pink would be such a pretty {yet sophisticated} pop of color against navy or gray!

Weathering the Storm...!

I live in Utah. It is snowy in Utah. I walked to school in Utah in the snow, for three years.

and you can bet your bottom dollar I was not about to wear snow boots to school all day.

So, I needed a solution. And lo and behold, one was presented to me...!

Image
{that is a photo of my old pair, before they perished from their years of use}

I have grown rather fond of these little fellows {I have... four pairs} and they are wonderful things. They came in quite handy on my trip to Seattle this past month, and for those three years of snow-walking. And I found my most favorite pair at Nordstrom when my other ones got holes in them {which kind of defeated the purpose}. I wanted golden-yellow so bad, but black patent-y was fine also! {and I would die over a pair of these Burberry's} They are too comfy, and I wear them more than I should, really. I like to tuck skinny jeans into them, or even wear them with skirts, over tights and knee high socks! They look darling on rainy and snowy days, and they are practical at the same time!

Plaid is next on my list!

Fabulous!

Oh, Hello!

Ta-Da! It is me!

I am Rosie!

and I am so excited to be one of your new BP. Bloggers! Here is a bit about me...

I am a sophomore, I live in Utah, and I am on fashion board at Fashion Place Mall. I love pretty things. I love artistic things. I love fashionable things. I have red hair, which I see as an important detail. I have danced my entire life, and all I ever wanted was to be a ballerina. I love photography. And I love my Diana {Diana is my cute old-fashioned camera, maybe I will show you her pictures some time}. One day, I will be an Artist and/or Photographer. Fashion-wise, I want to be a stylist or work with display/appearance {what is that called?} And... I only want to be famous so I could dress up really fancy more often.

And that is a little about me!

Au Revoir for now! If you need me, you can find me dancing around Nordstrom.

{Seriously, I just can't stop twirling.}

xo, Rosie.
